ArtUp AKADEMIE is a unique education program dedicated to making the arts available to everyone. We do this by providing classes in various artistic disciplines to the professional community and the general public. If you live or work downtown, check out our Downtown Series. For children and youth, you may be interested in our Young Artists Series. If you are a practicing artist, we provide opportunities to hone your craft in our Professionals Series. Downtown Series:
The Downtown Series offers classes to residents and employees in the downtown community. Classes are available during the lunch hour and in the early evening and include Tai Chi, Posture and Stress Relief, Public Speaking, Mastering Your Body Language and Acting Skills for Work and Play.

Young Artists Series:
The Young Artists Series offers classes to children and young adults. Classes are available on Saturdays and include Building Self-Confidence, Making a Puppet Play, Creative Dramatics, Learning to Draw and Paint, Stage Combat for Beginners, Performing Shakespeare.

Professionals Series:
The Professionals Series offers classes to professional and semiprofessional artists in the greater Pittsburgh community. Classes are available evenings and Saturdays and include Meisner Technique, Stage Combat, How to Audition, Scene Study, Vocal Technique for the Stage, Acting for the Camera, Viewpoints, Improvisation, Puppetry, Asian Theatre for Western Performers.
