Tavia La Follette was the first Artist-in-Residence and founder of Artists Upstairs. Tavia is the director of the internationally recognized Beeswing Productions. She brought in many other artists collaborators in the Pittsburgh community through her production of FAUST: A MASKED TELLING This included, actors, designers, dancers and puppeteers- all needed for the show. Tavia wrote, designed and directed this all puppet and mask production at Colby College while she was an Artist-in Residence there. The show has traveled to Maine, Indiana, Greensburg PA and then to downtown Pittsburgh for the Three Rivers Arts Festival. See Tavia's bio under Executive Director.
